Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our development team and help build scalable, secure, and high-performance business applications. You will be responsible for developing new features, maintaining existing systems, integrating third-party APIs, and ensuring the overall reliability of the POSWMS platform. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills and a passion for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and modern frameworks.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend and third-party services.
• Design and manage MySQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and frontend developers to deliver responsive and user-friendly applications.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
• Integrate third-party APIs such as payment gateways, SMS, email, and cloud services.
• Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code following coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous product improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in PHP web development.
• Strong knowledge of Core PHP and MVC architecture.
• Experience with frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter.
• Proficiency in MySQL database design and optimization.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, and version control workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ERP, POS, CRM, or SaaS applications.
• Knowledge of API integrations, authentication, and web security best practices.
• Familiarity with Linux servers, Apache/Nginx, and cloud hosting environments.
• Understanding of caching, performance optimization, and database indexing.
• Basic knowledge of React, Vue.js, or other modern frontend technologies is an added advantage.
